Sherrill Ann Miller

Sherrill Ann Miller, 75, of Mt. Jackson, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at Lavender Hills, in Front Royal. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 18, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jerome. Pastor Sonya Williams-Giersch will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, March 17, from 6-8 p.m., at Valley Funeral Service in Edinburg.

Mrs. Miller was born May 20, 1949, in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of the late Lloyd and Martha Mailloux Sparks. She was a registration clerk for Shenandoah Memorial Hospital for over 15 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she served as an assisting minister and was very active in Luke's Backpack and Bible study. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, William Dean Miller Sr.

She is survived by her children, Lourrie-Lyn Duddridge of Alexandria, Luther Chandler Duddridge II of Reston, Ricky Miller (Lisa), Wayner Miller (Carolyn), Bill Miller, Tammy Gleeson and Cindy Bailey (Scott); brother, Donald Sparks of South Berwick, ME; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, RE Luke's Backpack, 4109 Jerome Road, Edinburg, VA 22824.
