JoAnn Dobiecki Obituary
She was born Oct. 24, 1933, in Falls City, Neb., one of 12 children born to Robert and Louise King. She married Gerald "Doby" Dobiecki in September 1955.
She is survived by her children, Wendy Shaneen, David Dobiecki, Jude (Robert) O'Brien and Jason (Heidi) Dobiecki; two brothers, Robert (Jean) King and Jean (Nancy) King; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald; a son, Stewart Dobiecki; a granddaughter, Alexis O'Brien; and nine brothers and sisters.
The visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the funeral at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa, with the Rev. James P. Freund officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in care of the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa, IL 60135.
