Christopher F. Ignowski "Chris" ST. JOHN, IN - Christopher F. Ignowski "Chris", age 48. Late of St. John formerly of Crown Point and Lynwood. Passed away February 14, 2018. Beloved son of Frank and Janice (nee Fattore) Ignowski. Loving brother of Steve (Shantel) Ignowski. Uncle of Michael Ignowski. Longtime partner of Yvette Knight. Special father of Sabina Schroeder, Bobbie Schroeder, Alexis Knight, and Amy Knight and special grandfather of Mason, Anthony, and Cody. Chris is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers, and many friends. He was a traveling safety advisor for Fed Ex. Memorial visitation Friday, March 2, 2018 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the ELMWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN) St. John. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Riley's Children's Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. or the Make A Wish Foundation in Chris's name appreciated.
