Chris Veljanoski Obituary
Chris Veljanoski, age 53 of Crown Point, passed away on January 9, 2014 with his family by his side. Chris was a lifelong member of SS Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral. He was an employee of Anco/Federal Mogul with over 35 years of service. Chris enjoyed wood working and building homes. Mr. Veljanoski was preceded in death by his mother, Spasija Veljanoski; brother, Pere Veljanoski; and infant son, Anthony Veljanoski. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Klimentina (Mileska) Veljanoski; beloved children: Timothy (Suzanne) Veljanoski and Cassandra Veljanoski; father, Milutin "Mike" (Ristovka) Veljanoski; brother, Dimitri (Blagorodna) Veljanoski; sisters: Klimka (Don) Grubbe and Violet Davidson; in-laws: Petro and Pavlina Mileski; sisters-in-law: Gordana (Dince) Boganoski and Valentina (Krste) Jakimoski; brother-in-law, Georgija (Brankica) Mileski; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren; and family members both here and in Macedonia. Chris will be fondly remembered. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 13, 2014 at 12:00 Noon DIRECTLY at SS Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 9700 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday AT SS PETER & PAUL MACEDONIAN ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL (AT THE CHURCH) from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Pomen service at 6:00 PM with Very Rev. I can't believe that my beloved co-worker has passed and is with God now especially at such a young age. Chris was always friendly, funny and kind, I enjoyed everyday working with him and sadly I live in Tennessee and cannot afford to pay my respects, this saddens me. May God Bless his entire family in their time for strength, he was a wonderful man.

Words simply cannot express the sadness that filled our hearts when we learned of the passing of our dear friend Chris. Ron and I enjoyed our association with Chris over the many years at ANCO. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Veljanoski family.
