CYNTHIA McGAUGHEY Obituary

CYNTHIA M. McGAUGHEY LAKE STATION, IN Cynthia M. McGaughey, age 53, a resident of Lake Station, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. She was born on April 13, 1957 in East Chicago, the daughter of Emery and Frances Southern. She was married to Glen N. McGaughey on December 11, 1974 in Chicago and they celebrated 36 years wonderful years together. Cynthia was an excellent seamstress, fantastic cook, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to all. Cynthia is survived by her loving husband, Glen McGaughey, Lake Station; children: Chandra (William) Glancy-Campbell of AL, Eric Lee McGaughey of Hobart, and Tronya McGaughey of Lake Station; six grandchildren; brother, Dr. Thomas E. (Colleen) Southern of Indianapolis; sisters: Diane Spann of MO and Adrian Southern of Schererville; and other loving family and dear friends. A visitation for Cynthia McGaughey will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010 at Rees Funeral Home – Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Entombment at the Graceland Cemetery Mausoleum in Valparaiso. Memorials in Cynthia's memory may be made to the McGaughey family.
