Duane P. Timmons

DUANE P. TIMMONS DEMOTTE, IN Duane P. Timmons, age 73 of DeMotte, passed away on December 29, 2014 at the Porter Regional Hospital. Born on September 26, 1941 in Gary, IN to the late Elmer (Virginia) Timmons. He was a 1958 graduate of the Morgan Park Military Academy, as well as attending I.U. and the University of Denver. Duane was the proud owner of McDuffy's restaurant in Portage. Duane was married to Robbin in 1989 at the St. Thomas Virgin Islands. He was a Master Mason, and Shriner, for the Portage Lodge. He enjoyed golfing, being a clown for the Shriners, working, and watching television. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by loving wife Robbin; children: Scott (Sue) Timmons, Jason (Lynette) Timmons, Pam Ellis, Shannon (Rick) Simpson and Bob Gardner, as well as 13 loving grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 2, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Frazier Funeral Home 621 S. Halleck Street DeMotte, IN, with cremation rites to follow, friends may visit on Friday January 2, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Frazier Funeral Home.
