Estelle Katsoulis Obituary
Estelle Katsoulis age 63 of Munster, passed away April 17, 2017. She is survived by her loving father John Katsoulis: loving sister Susan (Peter) Gregory and many aunts, uncles, and dear friends; niece Sara and nephews Kosta, Michael and George Gregory. Preceded in death by her mother Kathryn and brother Nicholas Katsoulis. Estelle was a very active member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Schererville and a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM directly at the St George Greek Orthodox Church in Schererville, with Rev. Constantine Aliferakis officiating. At rest Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary. Friends are invited to visit with Estelle's family on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, 7607 W. Lincoln Hwy., Schererville (Rt. 30 east of Cline Ave). Trisagion prayer service Friday 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Schererville.

I was saddened to hear of Estelle's passing. She rode the bus to Chicago with my mother and I. I saw her at the St. George Greek Festival when we visited there. She will truly be missed along with her smile and her great personality. My deepest sympathy to her father and her family.

Estelle and I always sat next to each other in high school lecture halls when seated alphabetically. That is how I first met her and forever after counted her as a friend. One of the kindest people I have ever known. She will be dearly missed.
