James Tully Obituary

James "Jim" F. Tully, Sr. Lowell, IN James "Jim" F. Tully Sr., 64 years of age, of Lowell, IN, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 25, 2003 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Ann; four sons: James (fiancee Maeve) Tully, Aaron (Jennifer) Tully, Timothy (Cathleen) Tully and Todd Tully, all of Lowell; two daughters, Tina (Marlin) Michael of Crown Point, Hilary (Maitland) Davidson of Winder, GA; four grandchildren, Samantha, Schyler, Ryleigh and Griffin James Tully. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Barding. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 29, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Lowell, IN. Father Peter Muha officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sheets Funeral Home, 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell, IN. Jim was a 1958 graduate of Lowell High School where he played football and was a three time class president. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was retired from U.S. Steel in Gary, IN. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was an avid fisherman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cerebral Palsy Association.
