My sympathy on your loss. I lived in community with Sister Albert, drove with her when she visited home, and in that way, met John. I remember his cordiality and an expression of those same genial qualities that made Sister Albert so special.

I was saddened today as I saw the announcement of Jack's death in the newspaper. I remember as a young man working with Jack at Wilson's Pharmacy in Hobart. When I finished high school I went on to Purdue University as a pharmacy student. Although I didn't finish college as a pharmacist, it was Jack and his wife that helped me decide what type of education I wanted. I will always remember the blizard of 1967 and working with Jack at the pharmacy. We had a great time. My condolences to all family members and I will always hold a special place in my heart for Jack Dougherty.

Bud and I wish to give our deep sympathies to the Dougherty Family at this sad time.
Jack was always such an upbeat person. I always enjoyed his company at family gatherings and was very surprised to hear of this sudden change in health.
He was a good man...a good father, grandfather and brother. We know that the family will take comfort in the memories that they have, in the valuable life lessons that Jack taught them, and in the legacy of love he left to his children and grandchildren.
