Kathleen M. Perry (nee O'Keefe)

Kathleen M. Perry (nee O'Keefe), 80, of Munster, formerly of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward W. Perry who passed away on September 6, 2011; loving daughter of the late Daniel and Helen (Nemez) O'Keefe and was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel, Patrick and Thomas (late Jennie) O'Keefe. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services were held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting, with the Rev. James Dvorscak, officiating; interment, St. John Cemetery, Hammond. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Kathy Perry was born on January 16, 1945 and was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region. She was a graduate of Bishop Noll Institute, Class of 1962 and was a retiree of Sears, Roebuck and Company. Kathy was always ready and willing to serve her family and friends with great love and generosity, she touched many lives. Anyone who had the pleasure of her acquaintance has been truly blessed. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Whiting "Gimme Shelter" (for pets) or the Whiting Food Pantry, P.O. Box 591, Whiting, IN 46394, would be appreciated. (219) 659-4400.
