Hearing about Louie's death has saddened me. We have been friends since high school. Louie was always an important part of planning our class reunions. When we (our committee) didn't know where someone was, Louie always knew or would eventually find them for us. It won't be the same without you. I will miss you my friend. ? Prayers for your family and friends. You were loved.

May he rest in peace now. I have known him for many years, I enjoyed our conversations together and he has been missed at our luncheons and definitely at our annual Old Timers Bandquet. He enjoyed talking to people and people enjoyed talking him. May God give his family peace and comfort knowing he is not suffering anymore. Sally

Carole and family,
Louie's brothers and sisters,

Although marriage took us in different paths, there was a time when we'd meet and play basketball every day. We shared so many years of friendship, lots of good memories, lots of good times: playing basketball at the Katherine House, Washington Park, playing against teams in South Chicago, and attending many social functions during our younger days. Louie was a close friend we all admired, respected, and could rely on. My friend, my basketball buddy, my inspiration in life, I WILL SURELY MISS YOU.

To those that Louie left behind, it is hard for us to understand how his suffering has now turned into a time of celebration and joy for him now that he is in the land of NO MORE PAIN, NO MORE SUFFERING, AND NO MORE TEARS. May your memories of Louie soothe you, your friends comfort you, and your family's strength help your hearts begin to heal. May the love you shared sustain you through this time of sorrow. May his memory be eternal. Please accept our deepest sympathy. We send our love to his wonderful family.
