Michael Vajda Obituary
February 24, 1963 - November 30, 2024
Michael is the loving husband to Beverly Vajda; beloved step-father to Megan (Mike) Dlugokinski; proud Papa to Abbi, Emma and Maddie; cherished son to the late George and Bertha Vajda; fond brother to David (Gay) Vajda, Lynn (John) Haynes, Joseph (Pam) Vajda and to the late George Vajda Jr.; brother-in- law to Sonja Vajda; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, especially going to beach. Michael was a PADI Certified Rescue Diver and explored many of the shipwrecks on Lake Michigan. He would also scuba dive in several underwater caves. He was an animal lover and genuinely cared for his two cats. Michael loved taking his granddaughters to the various zoos and to the aquariums. Michael will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
