Michael A. Zuccarelli, age 82, late of South Chicago passed away January 18, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine. Loving father of Debbie (Paul) Parent, Mick (Tina) Zuccarelli, and Robert (Darlene) Zuccarelli. Cherished grandfather of Michael (Jay) Zuccarelli, Casey Parent, Dominic, Rebecca, Tyler, David, and Elizabeth Zuccarelli. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Aileen; sisters: Mary and Sadie; and brother, Jim. Veteran of the United States Army. Retired Iron Worker Union Local #1. Member of Knights of Columbus Trinity Council #3755. Visitation Friday 2:00-9:00 pm. Funeral Services Saturday January 25, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago to Church of the Annunciata. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am. Interment private. 773-731-2749 www.elmwoodchapel.com

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the entire Zuccarelli family. I can only imagine what a glorious reunion in Heaven it has been with his beloved wife,Gerry as well as his parents and all his siblings. "Grandma" Aileen who was so loving now has all her children with her. Mr.Zuccarelli "Mickey" called me recently for some information related to my field. I thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting as if no time had passed. My love and prayers go out to Bob(Darlene),Mick(Tina),Debbie(Paul),and all his grandchildren which he absolutely adored (his face glowed when he talked about them). I remember his nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart as well. Though there are no adequate words that can ease the pain of grief,EARTH'S LOSS IS NOW HEAVEN'S GAIN.

Debbie,Mick,Bob and family, So sorry to hear of your dads passing. Your dad was a good man. He always went out of his way to be friendly. Ive known him since I was kid and he always treated me like family. He was a good man. My Thoughts and Prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
