I am so sorry to learn this sad news. I had just spoken to Phil on the phone a week or so prior, and we were looking forward to catching up on old times. I'll always remember him as "Phantom Phil." Deepest sympathies to Phil's family.

Terri, Phillip and Brendan: Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved husband and father. I was honored to have served with Phil during his career at U. S. Steel. Phil was the consummate professional. Always calm in crisis, but precise, efficient and courageous in response to incidents of fire, hazmat and medical emergencies. May Our Lord embrace Phil into His Kingdom of Heaven and grant each of you comfort and peace knowing what a fine man was your husband and father. Tom Spychalski. Bridgman, MI.
