Robert Singel Obituary
1951 - 2024
Age 72, of Westminster, Colorado, formerly of Glen Park in Gary, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by brothers, Bill (Chris) Singel and Rick Singel; sisters, Janet (Phil) Goldrosen, Deb (Rob Quaife) Singel, and Sue (Kenny Herrera) Sticka; special nephew, Ryan Singel; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many good friends. He is preceded in death by wife, May (Segismar) Singel; parents, William and Rosalie Singel; and nephew, Zach Sticka.
Bob earned his bachelor's degree at Oregon State University and MBA International Business at Arizona State University. With a keen interest in international trade and his entrepreneurial attitude, he built a successful career as an international and domestic electronics broker.
Bob loved sports and the great outdoors. He was on the Crew Team in college, loved to snow ski in the winter and enjoyed golf, water skiing, hiking, and kayaking in the summer, not to mention travel, billiards, horseshoes, and a friendly game of darts. Bob could tell you anything you wanted to know about any baseball, basketball or football player. We loved watching sporting events with him!
He will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.
A get-together of family and friends to celebrate Bob's life and share fond memories is being planned for the near future. A Celebration of Life for Robert will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Wrigley’s Chicago Bar and Grill, 18200 West Colfax Avenue, Golden, Colorado 80401. Updated May 11th.
