Just learned of this sad event. Thank you, Bob, for the great memories as a kid growing up in the town of Calumet City and the snowmobile adventures in Rice Lake Wisconsin. My parents enjoyed the company of you and your lovely family. Your broad shoulders and kind leadership are rare and will be missed!

My parents were George and Lottie Laczny. Dad being a loyal Republican and Mayor Bob a loyal Democrat, Dad considered him a good man and friend. I think they are having a grand old time talking politics in their heavenly home!

It is hard to say good-by to classmates, even though we did not see each other as often as we might have liked. Our lives take us down different paths and we get separated. However that does not mean that we are unable to recall memories from the past.
wouldn't it be great for our children to see us run out on the old TF field for just one more game. Hopefully there is a place where the tem will get together someday. Rest in peace old class mate.

Our families go way back quite a few years. I will always have fond memories of Bob or Casey as I knew him as a child when he and dad and all the high school friends (Bill Trem) would get together with their children and just plainly have fun. The Lions Club's breakfasts and Labor Day parade floats. I will miss you my dear friend. My condolences to your family.
