Bob was a neighbor and friend with whom I had many discussions and shared many laughs. He will be missed for his love of sports and political debate. His service to IU, the State and country were his pride along with his lovely family.

I remember Dr. Wylie as an outstanding doctor: unusually resourceful, inventive, dependable, sympathetic, intelligent, but also down-to-earth and humorous. Truly a special person. I'm thankful to him for the great care he gave me, spotting problems other doctors had missed, finding ways to treat expensive problems with less when I was struggling financially. When I moved to Chicago, I really missed him.

Dr. Wylie served the Mattix Family as a doctor, friend, and role model. His service to his community and country was extraordinary. Dr. Wylie will be missed; but he will be remembered by all. He would bleed "Purple & Gold and Cream & Crimson." He was a man we all looked up to. Thank you Bob, for all that you did and all that you were. You will be remembered. Say HELLO to my brother Stew, Coach Deal, and Coach Howeell.

When I was 10 on 10th place, hitting the wiffle ball over his garage was a home run. When I was 12, he set the arm I broke in gym class. And when I moved back to Indiana in 1991 he was my doctor once again for a few years. A great doc, a nice guy and his passing saddens me. May he forever rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Wylie family. "Doc" was so instrumental in so many lives during his time in Hobart. In the early stages of our business start up in 1992, at Regional Radio Sports Network and the Indiana Football Digest, "Doc" spearheaded the team at St. Mary's Medical Health and Rehab Spectrum to get involved with us a corporate partner. His encouraging spirit put us on a really positive path. As we are nearing our 25th anniversary, I can say with out a doubt, we would not be here today if he did not get involved. On behalf of the Condry family, the Indiana Football Digest and the Regional Radio Sports Network we have been blessed to call him our friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this most difficult time. God's Blessings. Paul R. Condry-President/Founder RRSN/IFD
