I am very, very sad to hear of Adrian's untimely death; although I didn't know him well, I admired his work on the Committee to Save Cooper Union and thought he was a dynamic speaker.
Peace and love to his family and friends in this difficult time; I say that from the heart, because I'm currently reeling from a few losses of my own.

Honoring Adrian for a life well lived and his contributions to the values of those who knew or worked with him. The dynamics, history, and future of Cooper Union have been forever changed in the right direction based on Adrian's proactive and legal initiatives to support and reestablish Peter Cooper's vision for freer education, "Free as air and water", for its students.

I know I am not yet recovered from the shock. Adrian was a generous, thoughtful, and dedicated person who represented the best of the Cooper Union alumni community. I am grateful we were able to honor him as an Alumni of the Year, as well as elect him as Alumni Trustee from a large field of candidates, to demonstrate to him how highly we thought of him. Although his work is unfinished, it will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and many loved ones.
