CAROLE FRIEDMAN

FRIEDMAN--Carole. Carole Hirsch Friedman passed away on Tuesday, January 26th, sixteen days after her beloved husband Mickey. Carole and Mickey had a wonderful love affair for over 60 years. An amazing athlete, an incredible cook, and an artist of real talent, Carole was a woman of humor and genuine wisdom. She loved Mickey, her children, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren without limit. Carole's heroes were her mother and father, Myrtle and Henry Hirsch. She lived her life emulating her parents' profound and constant concern for our community and all those within our community. Mickey and Carole led fantastic and active lives filled with travel, golf, tennis, and sailing. Carole was a devoted philanthropist, and for over six decades was committed to UJA-Federation of New York, The Fifth Avenue Synagogue, Schneider Children's Hospital, and many other organizations. She was a daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of remarkable stature. We will miss you every day for the rest of our lives.
