David was a mensch - a responsible person, all too uncommon in today's world. He was kind, considerate, thoughtful, knowledgeable, empathetic... And I could go on and on. It was wonderful to have known him and benefitted from his capabilities.

Dear Mrs. Manischewitz and family,
We at the waterfront send our deepest condolences and heartfelt praise of your husband/father. He was always a welcome constant aboard Sheila III every season which we are not prepared to see depart. His calm quiet companionship aboard the launch will be missed. We hope your memories of him here will bring you comfort in this difficult time.

To the Manischewitz Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
