A few years ago, Emma was a member of my Creative Writing Workshop at "Sundays at JASA". To life, to life, l'chaim? Good lord, Emma was a living testament to brimming, inquisitive, life-consuming longevity. Laughing, loving, learning, being active, and being with people - a beautiful shining example for us all. Will miss her smiling face and effortlessly indomitable spirit... always.

Gone and will not be forgotten, be comforted by prayers, memories, and the loving support of family and friends, wait for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, removing the effects of sin and death.

I met Ms. Shulman when I first started working at NYU Medical Center. She was a star. She was remarkable woman and it was a pleasure to work with her. My sympathies to her family. Hers was a life well lived.
