I wish to express my deepest condolences, and sympathies for your loss.
Dr. Panson was in the Chemistry Chemistry Department at Rutgers Newark when I was a student there (1981). I remember attending his retirement party and thinking what a loss this will be to the school. Even though I never had the opportunity to attend one of his classes, I still consider him a great mentor, and enjoyed sitting in his office as he shared stories about his research during the War (WWII), and the career advice he willfully shared. I will always have fond memories of Dr. Panson and will always be thankful to him.
