LAWRENCE DEUTSCH Obituary

DEUTSCH--Lawrence, passed away on November 15th in Sarasota, FL. He is survived by his wife Toby, his children Allison and Barry, his son-in-law Tim, his grandchildren Silas and Jemma, and his sister Marlene. Larry was born in Brooklyn in 1942 and married his high school sweetheart in 1962. An audiologist for decades, Larry was a leader among colleagues and an empathic doctor to his patients. In retirement, a passionate scholar and teacher of Judaism. A man whose energy was exceeded only by his generosity, Larry was much loved and will be missed. Funeral services will be held at 10:15am, Wednesday, November 17, at Sinai Chapels, 162-05 Horace Harding Expressway, Fresh Meadows, NY.

We just were told of Larry's untimely passing and wanted to take a minute to offer Toby and family our deepest sympathies. Quite honestly without Larry, many of us would not be the audiologists we are today. May his name be a blessing.

I was so very sad to learn of Larry's death. He and I were colleagues while he was at Qieens College and I was at Brooklyn College. We also ran into each other in Naples,prior to his move to Sarasota and mine to Vero Beach.

Toby, Allison and Barry...our thoughts are with you at this sad time...we will always remember Larry and the happy times in Syosset although we have lost track of each other over the years you were not forgotten and we are very glad that Allison and Dan have renewed their friendship...I am sure it means a lot to them
