RUTH BOWMAN Obituary
noted art curator, educator, and collector, passed on October 31, 2018 at 95. Her career promoting and supporting contemporary American art included positions at the Jewish Museum, NYU, MOMA, WNYC, the Newark Museum, and LACMA. She is survived by her children Ann-Lee Switzer, Janet Asten, and Mark Finkel, as well as 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The funeral services will be held at Plaza Memorial Chapel in Manhattan on Friday November 2.
