INEZ MADDOX Mrs. Inez Maddox; The funeral service for Inez Maddox, 85, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, Rev. David Core will officiate. Mrs. Maddox, who passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at East Alabama Medical Center, was born May 26, 1927 in Lee County, Alabama. She was a member of Little Zion A.M.E. Zion Church. Survivors include: two sons, Arthur (Mary) Bullard and Willie James Maddox of Opelika, AL; two granddaughters, Pamela B. Benson and Cassandra (Vincent) Mills of Opelika, AL; one grandson, Marcus Kindred of Opelika, AL; two great-grandsons, Teawon Pettus and Vincent Trey Mills of Opelika, AL; one great-great-granddaughter, Jordynn T. Pettus of Opelika, AL; three sisters, Annie Baker of Loachapoka, AL, Lillie Caldwell of Atlanta, GA and Nicie Butler of Newark, NJ; one brother, John Bullard of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
