Graveside service for Mardrevious Rodgers, 19, of Opelika, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, January 25, 2021, at Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL 36801, Pastor Monte Maddox will officiate.
Mr. Rodgers, who passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, GA, was born January 9, 2002 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing for Mr. Rodgers will be Sunday, January 24, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Berlinette (Jason) Meadows and Andre Rodgers; one brother, Jasead Meadows; one sister, Jakya Thomas; two step-sisters, Gabrile Meadows and Shaneiqua Meadows; one step-brother, Jabias Meadows; grandparents, Annie and Richard Staples; two aunts, Michelle Collins (James) and Britney Cox; two uncles, Jamar Williams and Rashard Williams; special cousins, Shantell Watts, Tiandra Collins, Tamiyah Strickland, Christian Collins, Kedaijah Strickland, Zackery Collins and Cameron Williams; a special friend, Tamika Wilson; a host of other relatives and friends.
CDC recommends that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
