Daniel Conn Obituary

ODESSA Daniel Dean "Danny" Conn, 53, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009, in Odessa. He was born May 30, 1955, in San Angelo to Bobby and Glynn (Ferguson) Conn. He married Pamela Busby on May 1, 1990, in Odessa.

Danny started working in the oilfield as a child by riding along with his grandfather. He was a welder his whole adult life and worked for Hollice Clark around 20 years. He liked auto mechanics and was in the process of building a big shop in his yard so he could pursue that hobby.

Some of the most important things in his life were his children and family, his 3 dogs and his truck.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Douglas McDonald, and grandparents, Ted and Martye Ferguson.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Conn; son, Lucas Conn; daughter, Michelle Conn; parents Glynn and Bert McDonald; brother, Warren McDonald; and three sisters, Teddye Creed and husband Byron, Diana Royalty and Gena Murphy, all of Odessa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be LaCour Clark, Eziquiuo Cervantes, Brian Seale, Cathy Patterson, Ray Coleman, Mike Clevenger, Ron Kyser, Olga Brizendine, Audie Howell, Eric Minjarez and Billy Watkins.

Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
