ODESSA Edward Earl Brady "Jr.", 24, of Odessa, who worked for B&L Casings Service LLC, passed away on February 25, 2014, in Odessa. Visitation will be 12 noon-7 pm, Friday March 7, 2014, at Martinez Funeral Home, 1040 S. Dixie Blvd., Odessa, TX 79761. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 8, 2014, at Martinez Funeral Home with Raymond Shorter officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
Edward was born to Barbara Ann McCreary and Edward Earl Brady Sr. on August 30, 1989. Edward grew to have a really big heart. He loved helping when he could and if he could. He even had words of encouragement when you needed it. He loved being himself, had no problem speaking what was on his mind, and he loved everyone no matter what. He adored his family and loved his children dearly, as well as his nephews. His nicknames varied but he loved them all, "uncle dooney, doon bug, Jr., Eddie, and Brady."
Edward is preceded in death by two grandmothers, Johnnie Ruth Shorter, Reaule Solomon Brady, two grandfathers, Oscar Earl Sr. Brady, Lethaniel Shorter, Aunt Linda Brady, cousin Princella Wilson, three uncles, Eddie Orum, Alan Shorter, and Roger Wallace.
He is survived by his three children, Neveah Eleby-Brady, Aubrie and Maddox Brady, mother and father, his three sisters, Kimberely Thomas, Shenidra Brady, and Shataria Thompson, brother-in-law, Timothy Thomas, his fiancée, Kendra Hill, followed by three nephews, Rebravione, Ruszal, and Rezhay, and a host of cousins, uncles and aunts.
