Julia Daniels-Rowley Obituary

CHESTER, VIRGINIA - Julia Elizabeth "Libby" Daniels-Rowley of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away Wednesday March 14, 2018, in Chester, Virginia at the age of 84. She was born on September 10, 1933, in Nash County, North Carolina to William David Daniel and Alice Huggins Daniel Ritter. She moved to Fort Stockton, Texas in 1996, and became an active member in her community by volunteering as a member of the Lions Club, and took part in Vacation Bible Study and Choir for First Baptist Church as well as Bereavement Committee. She studied nursing in Fort Stockton and Virginia then retired in 2010 from Fort Stockton Nursing Home as a CNA.

Julia is survived by children, Carol Smallwood of Powder Springs, GA, Marie Peters of Chesterfield, VA. Arthur Edward Ooghe, III of Portland, OR; and Angela Ooghe of Miami, FL.

Julia is preceded in death by her husband Francis Patrick Rowley.

Visitation for friends, family and church family will be on Saturday, March 17th, 2018, from 5-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Funeral service will be on Sunday, March 18th, 2018, beginning at 2pm at First Baptist Church in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery.
