Dean J. Santo Colombo, 59, of Washington, died peacefully Thursday, July 7, 2022, with his daughter and his two sisters at his side. Born in Mt. Pleasant October 18, 1962, he was a son of Nunzio Santo Colombo of Elco and the late Wanda Smart Santo Colombo.
Dean was a truck driver for 17 years for Old Dominion Freight and was a member of Meadowlands United Methodist Church. He loved playing with his grandson and enjoyed shooting his guns, driving his truck and listening to music. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Ann Sitar Santo Colombo; daughter, LeaAnn Santo Colombo (fiance Zachary Pantely) of Houston; grandson, Grayson Pantely; brother, Nunzio Santo Colombo III of Latrobe; sisters, Tami Prah of Banning and Christine Goguen of Alberta, Canada; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service, with military honors, will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Steve McGowen officiating.
