Joann Herrington Obituary
Joann Everly Herrington, 83, of Mt. Morris, Pa., died at 5:11 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022, at home.
She was born Saturday, August 26, 1939 in Morgantown, W.Va. a daughter of the late John Shirl Everly and Lena Virginia Calcio Everly Harvey.
Mrs. Herrington was a member of the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God since 1964. She enjoyed being with her family and taking care of her home. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Edward D. Herrington, whom she married on September 17, 1960.
Also surviving are a son and his wife, Edward D. and Christine Herrington, Jr. of Wadsworth, Ohio; three grandchildren, Olivia Herrington, Cecilia Herrington, and Thomas Edward Herrington; a stepsister, Betty Jo Lewellen of Mt. Morris, Pa.; a stepbrother, William R. "Butch" Harvey of Akron, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a stepsister, Nina Adams; and a stepbrother, Truman Duane Harvey.
Friends will be received 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the time of the service Thursday, Jan. 5 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478. Mount Morris, PA 15349 with Pastor Joseph Adams officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris, Pa. Information at www.milliken-throckmortonfh.com.
