Joseph "Joey" Edward Nowak, 21 of Amity, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2022.
He was born February 17, 2000 in Pittsburgh, a son of Edward B. and Joanne Becker Nowak of Lone Pine, who survive.
Joey was a graduate of Beth-Center High School and was employed at The Pizza Company in Marianna for several years.
Joey had a love of the arts, including photography and music. He was articulate and musically gifted, enjoyed singing, and was blessed with the ability to play five different instruments. He loved his pets and animals and especially loved his friends and family.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two siblings, Joshua B. Nowak of Marianna, and Kaylee Joanna Nowak Corlazzoli (Dominick) of Lone Pine; grandmother, MaryJo Nowak of Cecil; a niece, Maggie Corlazzoli; paternal family members, Uncle Ronnie (Kristine); first cousins, Matt, Gabe, Jay, Jonathon, and Ava; Aunt Bridget; first cousin, Angel; Uncle Danny; Uncle Michael (Keira); first cousins Amara and Tyler, first cousin, Zbrittany; maternal family members, Aunt Julie (Jesse); first cousins, Kierstin and Jordan.
Deceased are grandparents Ronald E. Nowak and Daria Ann Becker.
Family will be received from 1 to 3 p.m., and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, February 12, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main St., Beallsville, PA.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Trevor Project, Suicide Awareness, P.O. Box 69232, West Hollywood, CA 90069.
