News Death Notice
LEWIS, Matthew David age 27, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 28, 1987 to Debra & Robert Lewis in Middletown, OH. He was a certified MMA Boxer. Loved to go fishing and hunting and participated in most sports although handicapped by a cardiac heart condition from the age of 8. The light of his life however, was his 7 year old daughter. Matt is survived by his mother, Debra Lewis and grandmother, Ruth Cassidy both of Madison Township; father, Robert B. Lewis of Franklin, OH; daughter, Naomi Lewis of Monroe, OH; brothers, Adam Lewis, U. S. Army of Ft. Polk, LA, Eric Lewis of Somerville, OH and Bryan Lewis of Germantown, OH; grandmother, Sylvia Lewis of Franklin, OH; grandfather, Jess Cassidy of Dillon, NC; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and many friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lewis II; grandfather, Pastor James Lewis and great grandmother, Janet Hitch. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Lambes officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home in Matt's memory. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com
