Phillip Hagedorn Obituary

Phillip Michael Hagedorn, 33, of Ashburn, Va., formerly of Core, W.Va., passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, in Inova hospital, Leesburg, Va.

He was born January 24, 1989, in Morgantown, W.Va., a son of Kim Michael Hagedorn and the late Vanessa Hagedorn.

Anyone who knew Michael, knew he had the most contagious laugh, gave the best advice, and loved his family and friends fiercely. He was an amazing son, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a fantastic artist, very creative, had a keen eye for space and was architecturally inclined.

He enjoyed shopping, cooking, music, and traveling. He loved to entertain and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Going on long drives with the windows down and music blasting, taking walks in the outdoors and spoiling his loved ones were also some of his favorite past times.

Michael leaves behind his loving father, Mike Hagedorn; his fiance, Ryan EnEarl; his sister at heart, Shalanda Baez; along with his beloved niece, Diara; and nephew, Darsin; and a host of aunts, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Vanessa Hagedorn; paternal grandparents, Buck and Stella Hagedorn; maternal grandparents, Frank and Edna Pouillon; and his German Shepherd, Gabby.

There will be a Celebration of Life and dinner, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 9, in the Blacksville Town Hall, 5953 Mason Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV 26521.
