Robert "Bobby" Hector Preaux, 57, of Bridgeville, formerly of Cecil, died Tuesday, February 14, 2023, in St. Clair Health.
He was born January 31, 1966, in Cecil, a son of the late Robert and Dolores Scanny Preaux.
He worked for Chapman Corporation as a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 66 as a heavy equipment operator. He loved the men he worked with, and there are many who learned from him over the years.
Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching sports especially football, and making new friends.
Surviving are his daughter, Annie Preaux (husband Travis Fink) of New Orleans; partner, Jennifer Hostovich of Bridgeville; mother of Annie, Fran Preaux of North Hills; sister, Cheryl (Ed) Preaux-Suchacek of Pittsburgh; niece and nephew, Cheyene and Connor; two aunts, Gladys Kolljeski of Bridgeville, and Gloria Godfrey of Cecil; and many cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of a funeral service, Friday, February 17, in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, with Pastor John Patterson officiating the service.
Private interment will be in Robinsons Run Cemetery.
