William J. Grimes

William J. Grimes, 80, of Eighty Four, passed away, peacefully, Thursday, April 11, 2024, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 30, 1943, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Alvin and Margaret Henderson Grimes. Bill was a graduate of South Hills High School and Slippery Rock University. Mr. Grimes worked as a mechanic for Schindler Elevator Company for over 30 years, retiring in 2011. On August 23, 1975, he married Diane Fehl, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Kelly Hrabovsky (Michael Childs) of Eighty Four; son, David Grimes of Eighty Four; three grandchildren, James, Bobby and Brooke Hrabovsky; a sister, Marlene Broman of Butler; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a brother, James Grimes, is deceased. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or services.
