Mary Frances Hutchings of New Caney, Texas was born September 28, 1911 and passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on January 31, 2016 at the age of 104. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Caroline Westmoreland; her older sisters and their husbands, Emma May and Livy Morgan, Alma and Lewis Warnke, Lula and Edgar Warnke and Gertrude and Herbert Kelly. Mary was also preceded in death by her immediate family members, her loving husband, Richard (Hutch) Hutchings; her son, Harry Edgar Hutchings; her daughter, Mary Ann Tauzin; her grandson, Harry Glenn Tauzin and her son-in-law, John Charles Wakefield. There are so few left to cherish the more than a century of memories and stories. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Wakefield and grandchildren, Lisa Wakefield Dierschke and husband Manuel and her grandson, John Richard Wakefield. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and neighbor. Her life was an inspiration to all who knew her and her LaPorte Community Church was a lifelong union with God. All who knew this amazing woman will miss and always remember her. A Graveside service was held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
