JEFFERY WAYNE
Jeffery Wayne McCafferty, 59, passed away at his home in Citra, FL on early Tuesday morning, December 18, 2018. He was born on November 24, 1959, in Orlando, FL to Robert Malcom McCafferty and The late Mary Louise McCafferty. He was a drywall finisher by trade, and an avid outdoorsman by heart. He loved spending his time in a deer stand and in the woods running his dogs. When he wasn't hunting, he was trolling on the lake catching Speckled Perch, flipping hydrilla for large mouths, or catching Red Fish or Mullet. The three most important things in Jeffrey's life was his family, his friends, and his faith, and he was truly committed to all three until the end.
Survivors include his father, Robert Malcolm McCafferty (Charlotte) of Citra, FL; brother, Bobby McCafferty (Donna) of Ocala, FL; sisters, Dianne Moore (Johnny) of Cairo, GA, Carolyn Raimondo (David) of Athens, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise McCafferty.
Funeral services for Jeffrey Wayne McCafferty, of Citra, FL, are at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Roberts Funeral of Ocala Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd AVE, Ocala, FL. Pastor Johnny H. Moore will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Ocala, FL. The family will receive friends at Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel, on Saturday, December 22nd, from 10:00 AM, until 11:00 AM. I meet him when he was still in Jr. School he and Bobby, would get on the bus and set with me so no one would mess with them. He was so shy and quite . He has been a part of my live all these years at church and by Tony, hunting with him. He will be missed here but has done his job and now at rest in Our Lord.
