I worked at MMH with Dr. Shashy in he 60's. He was a sweetheart very down to earth; He knew you outside the hospital as well as at work. So sad, but Heaven's gain.

Although I only met Mary's father and Michael's grandfather on a few family occasions, I could see the heart of a great man, a man who understood how to create a strong family, hold them together, and pass that gift on to the next generation. I treasure that blessing since my daughter Meredith is now a Seibert and thus a member of the Shashay family as well. My prayers and condolences to all; you have a rich life to celebrate in the upcoming days--the life of a man who touched each of your spirits. May he rest in peace and may you find peace in your hearts as well.

To the Shashy Famiily
My condolences! I was a 'new doc' in town in 1983. Dr Shashy was wonderful to work with and one of the very most upbeat people I have ever known. Great doc and superb human being.

My deepest sympathy. Dr. Shashy has joined the realms of angels. I had the deepest respect for him, especially as my physician. Loved him! He leaves a great legacy. Praying for comfort and peace for all of you.

The Shashy family.
I was so sadden to hear of the passing of Doc. What a sweet loving and caring man. I have so many memories of going to your home on Fort King Street. Especially on 11/29/1966' the day my brother, Bo was born. When we got word that he had arrived, Doc took Mary and I to the hospital, as it was pass visiting hours he could get us in. He knocked on the window of the nursery, a nurse opened the door and said "hi Doc". She then opened the curtains and brought Bo to the window. At that point in Doc's humerous way he said "look at that shark bait, you could place the hook behind his neck".
Doc was such a loving, caring, humerous and special man.
RIP Doc you will be missed by so many. Say hello to my parents!
Love to all,
Chantal (Peltot) and Carson Dunning
