MARY NADON Obituary

MARY NADON Mary Louise (Klebba) Nadon, age 89, passed away in Rose City, MI on January 23, 2024, surrounded by her family. Mary Lou was born on August 18, 1934, in Detroit, MI to Ralph and Margaret (Ruttle) Klebba. After graduating high school, Mary Lou attended college to further her education. She married James W. Nadon on April 21, 1956, in Detroit, and together they raised their family in Westland, MI, moving to South Branch, MI in 1969. Mary Lou worked as an Accountant until "retiring" in 2019. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, and bird watching. She followed Lions and Tigers games and was an avid fan of Jeopardy. Mary Lou had a love for grammar and the English language and was a lover of animals. She was an active and beloved member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Hale, MI. She is survived by her children; Joel (Barbara) Nadon of Tennessee, Doug (Joe) Nadon of Thailand, Elaine (Thom) Scott of South Branch, MI, Carole (Sean) Flanagan of Yale, MI; grandchildren James Nadon, Kristina Hemphill, Justyn Scott, Jacob Scott; and multiple great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Jim Nadon, her son Larry Nadon, her brother Don Klebba, her sister Lois Schneider, and lifelong friends Jerry and Mary Ellen Shaughnessy. Per her request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be set for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made either to St. Pius X Catholic Church at 3901 M65, Hale, MI 48739 or to your local Humane Society.
