My Deepest Sympathy to your family. I went to Crouse with Anthony and Sylvia. I was in Sylvia class. I remember how nice he was. If I remember him you know he was a wonderful person. Again my deepest sympathy.

Dorothy and family,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It came as a shock. Tony was certainly a fine man and his absence will be felt around our family dinner events. I'm so sorry I can be at the funeral today as I am in Boston. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Phil. 1:3.

Sincerely,

My uncle Tony was an example of a fine American man, and his interaction with us during visits to our "granny" in childhood was a major bright spot in our lives. Horse back or piggy back rides were our choice for the asking (or they were offered!), and he always watched over us to see to it that we came to no harm. I will never forget him, and will try to honor his memory by living a better life and emulating his example. Life is like a vapor - here one moment, and gone the next, and on into eternity to be judged by the Creator. I wish I had stopped last week on my way past the house for one last talk. All my love to our family as we go through this trying time - I'm here when you need me.

A life, once well lived, can never be taken from us.
