I'm absolutely devastated by this terrible news. My thoughts and prayers are with Dave's family and friends. I pray that everyone finds comfort in Dave's legacy and memories, and begins the journey to heal. What a remarkable person my cousin was. I have nothing but good memories of him from my childhood....so kind, sweet, loving and funny. The world has lost a good, brave man.

So very sorry to hear about David's passing. I knew him from the YSU days. I would go into the bookstore and we would always have a good laugh for sure. My deepest sympathies go out to Mike, Marry Pat and David's entire family.

I am deeply saddened, but know Dave is smiling down at me and all of you. Dave and I worked together at Lone Star Steakhouse in the early 90's, and instantly became great friends. We had a special friendship and bond. I truly loved him as my brother. He was there when I really needed someone, and he knew he could call me for anything anytime. Heaven must have needed a terrific, loving and caring guy....and that's what they got....Sympathy to all....

Laura, Ashley and Jacob I am so very very sorry for your loss. David was a very special man. He was ever so pleasant when he came in for his guitar lessons. We would share stories and advice (both of us being blessed with awesome step-children) and we just thought he was genuinely a nice, loving man. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and the family and that you find peace and comfort.

May God Bless and comfort you and your family during this difficult period. As a classmate of David's I have many fond memories. May the memories he made and shared with all of you provide peace to you; remembering the many ways David touched all our lives. I consider myself blessed to have shared part of my life with David. God Bless, Be Well, Stay Healthy.
