Doris Studer Obituary
Doris Studer died October 1, 2014. She was 78 years old.
The sixth of eight children, she was born March 9, 1936 in Junction City, Ohio. She graduated from Hudson High School in 1954. Doris worked at Roadway Express in Akron for many years. Upon retirement, she volunteered endless hours at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Sarah Studer; sisters, Regina Studer, Sister Rose Studer, Marcella Long and Ann Shostek; and brother, Joseph Studer.
She is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Don) Grissom; brother, Patrick (Katy) Studer; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls, PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Inurnment will immediately follow at Markillie Cemetery in Hudson.
