So sorry for your loss. I was a student of his at Berlitz. I learned so much more than the Italian language from him. He was so funny and filled with life and optimism. I enjoyed taking classes with him and I loved talking with him. He always had nuggets of advice that he'd share with me and he was always right. Will miss him and will always cherish our classes together. Will think of him often but especially when reading Don Camillo. Perry Mastrocola Charlotte NC

I am so sorry for the loss of a husband, father and grandfather. The Amerio's were my neighbors and Mr. Amerio would also speak with me about the birds and animals in our yards. Barb growing up was a dear friend to this day. My heart goes out to you and your family. Sending healing prayers and blessings.

While words fail to capture the pain ofloosing a loved one, God sees everything, he hears the groans of the oppressed and revives the hearts of the crushed Isaiah 57:15. May God sustain you at this time of such great loss.

Dear Elise, Barbie, Andie, and family: my prayers and sympathy to you all. It has been many, many years since your Argonne Street days but I remember your dad and his prominence in your lives. I always thought your parents were wonderful.
