Harold Bode Obituary
Dr. Harold George Bode, 77, of Wadsworth, died Wednesday, October 25, 2005.
Born April 24, 1929 in Akron to the late Forest and Josephine Bode, Dr. Bode was a Corporal in the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict, was a dentist with an office in Kenmore for 28 years, a member of the Kenmore Kiwanis and a lifetime member of the Akron Dental Society.
He lived in Medina County since 1970 where he had a farm, enjoyed having horses and golfing with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, the love of his life, Shelbia, with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage;, his children and their spouses, LaVonna (Dan) Dressler of Lodi, Douglas Bode, Georgia Bode of Strongsville and Jeffery (Vicki) Bode of Rittman; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dolores and Earl Long of Orville and Sandra and Fred Gray of Cincinnati. There are six grandchildren and their spouses Matthew (Julie) Bode, Bret Dressler, Derek (Melissa) Bode, Corrisa Bode, Ryan (Amber) Dressler, Nicole Dressler and two great- grandchildren Alyssa and Nathan.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 30, 5 to 8 p.m. in the Hilliard-Mullaney-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Private services will be held for the family. (Hilliard-Mullaney-Rospert, 330-334-1501.)

"My Deepest Sympathy" to the Bode Family.
I will never forget Dr. Bode.
I went to his father first when I lived in Kenmore, then I had the pleasure of him.
He used to sing and whistle to me when I was a little girl.
He had a lot of courage when he had to learn to use his hand again.
To this day I enjoy going to the dentist while most people are afraid. I feel honored to have met him.

To The Bode Family,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I will always remember the times he was out there helping us set up for our Barnaby Muscular Dystrophy Carnivals when we were growing up on Artman and Marlowe.
