Jean (LaRue) Samples (nee Melson), 81, our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, was escorted into the arms of Jesus on May 21, 2008 after a long debilitating illness.
Never was there a more loving mother or devoted wife. Jean never stopped giving to others from her loving heart. These selfless gifts of love and countless joyful memories will live on in each of our hearts forever. We love her so!
Jean will be missed so much by her loving husband and soulmate, Ron; daughters, Sandy (Ken) Immel and Kathy Seward and son Al (Vonnie) LaRue; stepchildren, Mark (Karen) Samples and Shelly (John) Atkinson; ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the McGowan-Reid & Santos Funeral Home (at 3rd st., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls), where a memorial service celebrating Jean's Life will be held at 3 p.m. The Rev. Jon Truax officiating. Memorial donations in Jean's memory may be made to The Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Copley, Ohio 44333.
