John Tomello Obituary

John M. "Jay" Tomello

NORTH BENTON -- John M. "Jay" Tomello, 64, died unexpectedly on April 8, 2016.

Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident, living in North Benton since 2004. Mr. Tomello had a very successful 40 year food service career, spending 30 years with the F.W. Albrecht Co. and retiring from Sysco Food Service in 2010.

An avid golfer, Jay was a board member of Sebring Country Club and member of St. Ann Parish in Sebring. Prior to moving to North Benton, he had been a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Stow.

He was happiest when surrounded by his loving family and friends, and provided many boat rides at the lake house that he built. Jay cherished the many Harley rides he had with his beloved wife. He was the glue that held his family together.
