To Karl's family - I just recently learned of Karl's passing. Condolences to all of you. I played in the Silver League and was on a couple of teams with Karl a few years ago. He was a great player and always smiling - a lot of fun!
As Larry Ashbaugh mentioned in another post, we hope there is softball in heaven - Karl will be on the all-star team again!

Karl was a good friend to everyone, a great softball player, and best of all, a Great Teammate. He played Silver League Softball with me for a few seasons, and was a real pleasure to have on the team. The last season, 2016, we could see that he was having small issues with memory, but it never hampered his play, or how he worked with the other players to enjoy the game.
Karl, I hope they have softball in Heaven...

The picture is the essence of Karl. His humor and love of life. May he be at peace. Hang in there my dear friend. Love and prayers from my heart to yours!
