Jeanie, I got a phone call from my brother Bernie yesterday as I am in Los Angeles on business the entire week. I'm in shock about Kirk's passing and express my deepest condolences to you and your family. We were all one big softball family at one time, so it really hits home.
Kirk was a good friend and even though we haven't had much contact in recent years, I feel a deep sense of loss.
I am sorry I can't be there for the funeral. Kirk, you, and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
