Leah Anne Kaforey, 17, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, October 2, 2007.
Leah lived in the Cuyahoga Falls/Akron area for all of her life. She was loved by all and will be desperately missed. She was an avid reader and was the happiest when she was around her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents, Drs. Neal and Mary Kaforey; her sisters, Emma and Amy; her grandmothers, Ann Kaforey and Mary Park; along with many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and two special dogs, Honey Belle and Mr. Ollivander.
There will be a memorial service held in her honor on Monday, October 8 at 4 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) The service will be held for family and friends of family. Fr. Robert Clancy will lead the service followed by loving words from her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ``Akron Reads" c/o Akron Public Schools, 70 N. Broadway, Akron 44308. Leah loved to read and wouldn't want it any other way.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people stay for awhile, and give us a deeper understanding of what is truly important in this life. They touch our souls. We gain strength from the footprints they have left on our hearts and we will never be the same.
